The Microwave Research Lab (MWLab) at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher for research in microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuits (IC) and systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Postdoc is expected to conduct high quality research\ntasks, which entails:<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Design, simulate and evaluate microwave and millimeter-wave\nintegrated circuits (from baseband up to 100 GHz). Design areas will primarily\nencompass challenging millimeter-wave circuits for transmit and receive paths including\nboth active and passive components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Implement circuits using either advanced CMOS technology\nor high performance SiGe BiCMOS technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Qualified candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Electrical\nand Computer Engineering, Physics or a relevant field and have: <\/p>\n\n\n\n – Experience in designing millimeter-wave integrated\ncircuits using advanced CMOS technologies and\/or SiGe BiCMOS in microwave and millimeter-wave\nfrequency bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Experience of electromagnetic modelling of integrated inductors,\ntransformers and transmission lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n – Experience of using circuit design software, such as Cadence,\nADS, GoldenGate, as well as EM simulators including HFSS, CST, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n – Some knowledge of baseband digital interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n SALARY AND CONTRACT\nTERMS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The position will be initially filled for 1 year, renewable yearly with a possible extension up to 3 years. The expected starting salary for a Postdoctoral Researcher is $48,000\/year.
